1. About Us

Norman McCloskey Gallery Ltd is a limited company registered in Ireland, operating the gallery at Kenmare, Co. Kerry and the online shop at normanmccloskey.com. All images on this website are the original work of Norman McCloskey.

2. Our Prints

We offer two types of photographic prints:

  • Limited Edition Prints — Images in this series are limited to a certain number of prints in corresponding sizes and formats. Once the edition in that size and format is sold out, it will not be reproduced in the same way, format or size. We do reserve the right to reproduce a larger limited edition print in our open edition sizes at any time. Traditional framed prints with glass are signed on the mount with the title and edition number. Our Tray Frame Limited Edition prints come with a certificate of authenticity sent after delivery of the print, or affixed to the rear of your piece if collected or delivered personally.
  • Open Edition Prints — these are available to order at any time with no restriction on numbers. They are not individually numbered, but are all signed and titled by the artist. For our Oak 300 x 300 open edition framed prints the signature and title may be on the reverse of the frame.

All prints are produced to a high professional standard. Colours may vary slightly from how they appear on your screen due to differences in monitor settings.

3. Pricing

All prices shown on the website are in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but any order you have already placed will be honoured at the price shown at the time of purchase. For UK orders of Tray Frames, please note that VAT is applicable to the price, as these pieces are manufactured in the UK and are not deemed exports exempt from VAT. If the website does not recognise this during checkout, we will contact you and send a payment link for the VAT payable.

4. Ordering & Payment

When you place an order:

  • You will receive an email confirmation — this is acknowledgement of your order, not a guarantee of availability
  • Payment is taken securely via Stripe at the time of ordering
  • We reserve the right to cancel an order if an item is unavailable, with a full refund issued promptly

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide from Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Ireland using An Post, and DPD and DHL Courier where possible:

  • All orders are carefully packaged to ensure your print arrives in perfect condition
  • Delivery times vary depending on your location — we will provide an estimated timeframe at checkout
  • For international orders, customs duties or import taxes may apply in your country — these are the responsibility of the buyer
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or customs

6. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If something is wrong:

  • If your print arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage and we will arrange a replacement or refund
  • As all prints are made to order, we are unable to accept returns simply because you have changed your mind
  • To arrange a return or raise a complaint, please email gallery@normanmccloskey.com

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All photographs and content on this website are the copyright of Norman McCloskey Gallery Ltd. This means:

  • You may not reproduce, copy, download, or share any image from this website without our written permission
  • Purchasing a print gives you the right to display it in your home or business — it does not transfer copyright or any commercial rights
  • Any unauthorised use of our images may result in legal action

8. Calendars & Books

Our annual calendars and self-published photobooks are sold as physical products. As with prints, all content remains the copyright of Norman McCloskey Gallery Ltd. These items are non-returnable unless faulty.

9. Website Use

We do our best to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee it is always error-free. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website. We reserve the right to update or remove content at any time.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
