Derrynane Beach
Most definitely my favourite beach to visit any time of the year, but in particular during wintertime. I feel I always have the place completely to myself, no matter what time of the day I brave the wild Atlantic winds there! The winter storms and shifting tides change the look and feel of this section of the beach, sometimes referred to as Danger Beach. During winter more of the underlying rocks are exposed creating more interesting compositions.
