The strange early days of the Covid lockdowns in 2020 were given an even more surreal tint by the remarkable gorgeous weather that we experienced in April and May. Making Kenmare in Kerry as good a place as any to be locked down in! With virtually no traffic on the roads and almost every business closed, I embraced what will hopefully be a once in a lifetime opportunity to photograph my town without the traffic or parked cars, buses and delivery vans that usually clog the streets.
This image is part of series I made around Kenmare during the weeks of April and May 2020 in early morning light. It is an open edition which I have release in the limited edition sizes after many requests. It is also available in the small mini pano open edition .
