If I weren’t based in Kerry I would definitely be in Connemara. It’s a similar landscape in parts, but it’s mountains all seem to be far better placed, back from the roads , in perfect proportion to their surroundings. This scene was another that would be been passed by if it were not for the wonderful light and lingering mist on the mountains. Taken after a wonderful few days spent in Connermara, in Recess on the way back home, it also contains my facination for bogland and all the layers they can contain.
