St. Finian’s bay is somewhere that I end up many times during the year. I rarely set out to go here, as in my head I’ll never top the ‘Skellig Moon’ image I made here, but yet I find it hard to pass by. The beauty of this place is that its different almost every time you visit it. The light on the Skelligs varies so much and the sea conditions are so changeable , there’s always something new to see and to photograph.
This time I was drawn by the large surf, but also by the intense greens and blues in the water as the waves rolled in. Another worthy addition to my growing collection of Skellig images.
